This patient in her early forties came to see Dr. Connors and discuss a Breast Reduction procedure. For years, she had concerns with the size and weight of her breasts. Like most large-breasted women, she suffered daily from back, neck, and shoulder pain. It was very difficult for her to find properly fitting clothing and undergarments. Prior to surgery, she was an asymmetric H-Cup and she wanted to be a symmetric, full C-Cup. During surgery, Dr. Connors made an anchor incision (around the areola, vertically down the breast, and at the fold of the breast) and removed the appropriate amount of breast tissue in order to lift and even out the patient's breasts and take her down to the full C-Cup that she desired. Dr. Connors also reduced the size of the patient's areola in order to make sure they were in proportion with her smaller breasts. The patient is so glad she chose to have surgery. She loves her results and the freedom from the daily discomfort she was experiencing prior to surgery!
