Smyrna, GA Patient has Breast Lift Procedure*

Procedure Details

This patient in her early forties came to the office to discuss breast surgery with Dr. Connors. Her main concerns were the loss of volume in the upper portion of her breasts which was causing them to appear "droopy," and the asymmetry between the right and left breast. She, for the most part, liked her preoperative size (E Cup) and did not want to go much smaller. Her main goals were to add volume where lost and for her breasts to sit higher. During the consultation, Dr. Connors recommended a Mastopexy (Breast Lift) procedure. He felt that she had enough breast tissue of her own to lift and reshape her breasts without making her much smaller. During the procedure, Dr. Connors made an anchor incision (around the areola, vertically down the breast, and at the fold) and removed the appropriate amount of breast tissue (equaling about half of a cup size from each breast) to create symmetry. He then lifted and reshaped the breasts giving the patient the added volume in the upper-pole she desired. Dr. Connors also reduced both areola in order for them to be more proportionate to the patient's new breast size (DD Cup). In doing all of this, Dr. Connors addressed all of the patient's concerns and she absolutely loves her results!
