This patient in her late-forties came to the office to discuss Breast Surgery with Dr. Connors. After having children, she felt as though her breasts were asymmetric, had lost volume, and had begun to 'droop.' She was looking to have them lifted, slightly smaller, and symmetrical. At her consultation, Dr. Connors felt she was the perfect candidate for a Mastopexy (Breast Lift) procedure. During surgery, Dr. Connors used a Lollipop (around the areola and vertically down then breast) incision and removed a small amount of breast tissue. In doing that, he was able to create symmetry and bring the patient's breasts into a higher, more lifted position. He also reduced her areola in order to make them more symmetrical, as well. Prior to surgery, she was a full D-Cup and the Breast Lift was able to take her down to the rejuvenated, full C-Cup that she desired. The patient is beyond happy with her results and loves her slightly smaller, more lifted breasts!
